About Us
Hearing the words, “you’ve got cancer” is always frightening. Even with the best medical team, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Cancer Support Team is here to help cancer patients and their family members make the best decisions to move forward.
Our team of registered nurses go to the home and offer one-on-one education and support to those who live in southern Westchester. All our services are offered at no cost and include case management assistance with government benefits, insurance, medical equipment and more; social work counseling to help patients manage the enormous emotional toll this disease can cause. We also provide rides to and from treatment as well as financial assistance grants to help patients pay for the things insurance will not cover.
Cancer Support Team has been around for over 40 years, and we work hard every day to uphold our mission – to enhance the lives of cancer patients and their families in southern Westchester.
